John Behar, Managing Director

John Behar has more than fourteen years investment banking experience covering a wide range of financial products and deals across a broad geographical span including the European, Indian and US markets. He has a particular focus on leveraged and structured transactions having been centrally involved in private equity backed leveraged acquisitions worth more than €8bn., but also has experience of corporate leveraged acquisition, structured trade finance, securitisations, FCCB/GDR listings on the LuxSE, and London listings of international companies on both AIM and the Main Board. Prior to establishing Prospect Capital in 2004, John was a corporate financier with Commerzbank and more recently assisted ICICI Bank (India's second largest bank, and only full service investment bank) in setting up its independent UK subsidiary. A former fund manager and established member of the investment community in London, John combines comprehensive technical expertise, insights into the needs of management teams and owners, and an informed feel for investor appetite to provide effective solutions to financing problems. He is a graduate of Durham University and holds a finance MBA from Cass Business School. John also sits on the board of Indus Gas Ltd, a London listed Oil & Gas company with substantial assets in northern India.

Ivan Gerginov

Ivan Gerginov has five years investment banking experience. He brings with him a very high level of technical, statistical and modelling knowledge as well as a firm understanding of the entire spectrum of financing instruments. His work at Elana Securities, Bulgaria's largest private local financial institution covered equity valuations, preparation of business plans, and transaction management. A Bulgarian national, he has performed due-diligence on over 150 emerging market companies, in the context of capital raisings, privatisations, and EBRD backed hostile takeovers. Ivan is fluent in Bulgarian, English and has a strong working knowledge of Russian. He holds a BSc in Finance from the University for National & World Economy in Sofia as well as an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School.

Manish Agarwal

Mr.Agarwal has significant debt and equity experience both in the domestic Indian market and internationally, having raised over USD100m for Indian companies over the past three years. He has extensive involvement in project and infrastructure financing and has restructured and reengineered a variety of businesses in India. He also advises a number of Indian listed companies on financing matters. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Marina Patrick

Marina Patrick brings a wealth of experience in business development, and investor and corporate public relations in financial services environments. Her experience in both agency and in-house roles include work within asset management, alternative investment, corporate finance & advisory, investment banking, legal and risk management firms. As head of public relations at Reech Capital PLC, amongst other initiatives, she worked on wider corporate marcomms and collaborative media efforts with prime brokers such as Barings and DKW and hedge fund businesses including GAM. She has worked with a significant corpus of high quality UK and global companies including Adecco SA, Andersen, Ashurst Morris Crisp, Candover, Close Brothers Private Equity, Denton Wilde Sapte, FactSet Research Systems Inc., Northern Trust Global Investments, Reech Capital Plc, WestLB Panmure, WestAM, West Private Equity, Somerfield Plc, Schroders Private Bank, Schroders Investment Management, Unicredito Italiano, UBS Capital and UBS AG. Marina is a graduate of Kings College London.
